Christmas Trail
Take part in the festive trail and discover ‘What’s on the Tree!’
Families can enjoy a yuletide trail around the Country Park, looking for ten wooden Christmas trees decorated with traditional decorations. Keep your eyes peeled for a tiny mouse called Crumbs hiding on each tree. Every child taking part will receive a wooden disc to cut out and turn into a festive tree decoration.
Pick up a trail pack from the Woodland Café from 28 November to 3 January, 10am to 4.30pm

This year, we have something new and exciting coming to our High Field. Let the story begin…
Frederick was accidentally apprenticed to pirates as a child until his 21st birthday. On that birthday, he believed he would be free to leave the ship and dedicate his life to the destruction of piracy. However, the pirate king soon realised that Frederick's birthday falls on February 29, a leap year…Frederick begins to question his fate: will he be forced to work on the king’s ship until he is 84? And will his sweetheart wait for him? Find out more by watching the video by the cast.
Join the Illyria production for an evening filled with glittering wit and glorious music, performed by a talented cast of six actors and singers, accompanied by a full orchestra!
Please bring your own low-back seating and picnic blankets and get comfy in this unique outdoor performance.
⌚’Doors’ open at 2.30pm, performance starts at 3pm lasting approx. 120 minutes with a 20-minute interval.
🎫Tickets: Adult £18, Child £10
The production is suitable for all ages and is based on the celebrated nineteenth century Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera.

Everyone attending the show must have purchased a ticket in advance, please bring your confirmation email (digital or hard copy) to show on entry- these are your tickets!

When buying a ticket, if the purchaser requires additional help from a Carer, that Carer would come along for free. The purchase can email [email protected] with the order number (for their own ticket) and name, the team will then add a free Carer ticket to their order and make the ticketing team aware.

Soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks will be available to purchase on the night from The Woodland Cafe. Please note, alcohol cannot be brought on to site.

If you are travelling by car, we encourage you to car share where possible. Parking is not included in the cost of your ticket.
