This Christmas, a little friend needs your help! Join Nutmeg your gingerbread friend on a festive adventure and see if your family can save the magic of Christmas.
Nutmeg’s Adventure is a fun, interactive experience for children and families. As you follow the trail, you’ll:
Solve puzzles and crack festive clues
Search for hidden surprises along the route
Work together to help Nutmeg bring back the Christmas magic
How to join the adventure:
Collect your trail map from the Woodland Café
Set off on the festive trail, exploring the woodland and discovering magical checkpoints
Complete the trail and see if your family has what it takes to help Nutmeg save Christmas
Perfect for children of all ages, Nutmeg’s Adventure encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and plenty of festive fun.
Bring your festive spirit, put on your adventure hats, and join Nutmeg on a Christmas mission your family will remember.
Gingerbread House Craft
Get ready for a festive treat this December!
Join our craft team to design and decorate your very own cozy cardboard gingerbread house.
It’s a fun, hands-on activity that’s perfect for accompanied children aged 5yrs+
There’s a chance to make your very own edible gingerbread person too, perfect to place inside your new house, to take home, or nibble on straight away!
Sessions are priced at £6 and there are three sessions to book onto. Each session lasts for 1-hour.
Choose from: 10am -11am, 11.30pm -12.30pm

Location: The Hide – at the end of the drive (parking is nearby)
Parking: Please note that parking charges apply.
Get messy: Crafting can get a little sticky - please dress accordingly.
Take-home ready: Bring something sturdy to carry your gingerbread house home safely.
Festive Willow Lantern Workshop
A workshop to make lovely lanterns in preparation for the Festive lanterns and Songs event on Sunday 21 December.
The shape will be formed using buff willow and covered with tissue paper and pva glue.

Celebrate the season with light, music, and festive cheer at our lantern workshop, procession and festive singalong event!
Event Highlights:
Glass lantern workshops 3.30pm & 4pm (bring your own glass jar)
Mountbatten Choir 4.15pm

The Woodland Café will be open for hot drinks and snacks
Local charities Mountbatten Hospice and Eastleigh Fridge will be fundraising with a lucky dip and gifts perfect for little festive treats.

Includes everything in the £4 ticket plus a hands-on lantern workshop (3.30pm or 4pm) where children can create their own glowing lantern to carry in the parade.
