Welcome to The Hide, a distinctive new hire space at Itchen Valley Country Park designed to connect people with the outdoors. The standalone building with panoramic views of High Hill Field offers a flexible, comfortable and fully accessible environment with modern facilities all within a beautiful natural setting. Conveniently located near Southampton, next to the M3 and M27, it’s the perfect “outside-in” space for meetings, workshops, children's parties and family events.
As an eco-building, The Hide is designed for comfort as well as sustainability. It is supported by air-source and solar technology, with climate control.
Better still, every booking directly supports the Country Park’s conservation projects and community activities, so your event gives something back to nature!
Bookings are available between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm, seven days a week. With options for bookings by the hour (with a minimum of 3hrs) or full day (7hrs).
Space for up to 40 and equipped with 6 movable tables and 40 chairs, with toilets immediately within the building complex,
Choose from a range of catering and refreshment packages
Two free parking spaces for organisers
Access to the kitchenette facilities with kettle, fridge and microwave (sometimes this space will be shared as a small kiosk)
With Go Ape, Hensting Alpacas and multiple play areas onsite – why not pack your day with adventure?
Prices are protected for events that take place before April 2027, after which prices are due to increase by only 10%

Weekdays:
£15p/h (minimum 3hrs)

Catering:
£5.75 per child for party lunchboxes (ham/cheese sandwich (we will do half and half, unless contacted at least 7days prior), crisps, raisins, juice box, yoyo bear)
£1.80 per portion for unlimited tea/coffee/milk and drinking cups
For drinking water, please use the sink in the Kitchenette and bring your own reusable cups and encourage your guests to bring drinking bottles.
Catering orders can only be increased after booking, with payments taken on the day.
