School, college and educator visits

The Country Park is for everyone

We welcome groups of children and young adults to the site for supervised educational visits.

We simply ask for the following to take place, so we are aware and ready for your arrival

  • Please park in our top car park, located by Go Ape, which has designated coach parking spaces.

  • The coach fee is £28 for vehicles with more than 17 seats. Payment must be made at the Woodland Café and money made goes towards supporting the Country
    Park's growth and maintenance.

  • If you plan to bring more than 35 children, please let us know via email at [email protected].

  • Additionally, if you intend to use the café, please email us so we can ensure adequate stock is available [email protected]

Activities and how to get about

Activities we would recommend to visiting education groups:

  • Playgrounds
    The Den: for 8yrs and under
    The Warren playground: for 14yrs and under

    Children must be supervised

  • Den building
    The area is located under our canopy next to The Drey. Please refrain from building dens in other locations.

  • Orienteering

  • Activity sheets

Trails and the Country Park map

Follow the 1.5km Family Trail with the little ones, stopping at the play features along the way, take in all that the season has to offer on our 2.7km Nature Trail, or explore the 2km Active Trail which offers an opportunity to get your heart-pumping around the park.
