Start at the Woodland Cafe, where you can collect your instructions for an amazing self-led walk across the 440 acres of beautiful water meadows, woodland and meadows situated beside the River Itchen.

John will be on site 10am -1pm and again from 2pm - 4pm for you to watch as he creates his own masterpieces, find out more about his artistic process and inspirations or get creative with his guidance and support.

These events form part of the wider Eastleigh Walking & Wheeling Festival programme 2026. Local organisations and artists are providing led and self-led routes to explore by foot, wheelchair and mobility aid with a range of themes, lengths, locations and access needs across the Borough 17 August – 13 September. The WalkTogether and CycleTogether events are organised by Eastleigh Borough Council in partnership with the Walking and Wheeling Trust and funded by Hampshire County Council.
