Sundown & Celebrations

Music, theatre, films and more, ending summer on a high

Itchen Valley Country Park is proving to be the ideal venue for large scale events in Eastleigh with a packed programme for the rest of the summer.

It’s your gateway to big nights under the stars with outdoor entertainment at its very best.

From fairy-tale to film, there’s something to suit all ages and families at the park.

Folklore’s most notorious villain, the Big Bad Wolf is also due to make an appearance on Friday, 15 August and there are still tickets available for this brilliant, family show..

Living in exile in the Deep Dark Wood, the Big Bad Wolf parties and plays rock music every night with his cronies, far away from the goody-goody townspeople of Fairytaleville.

Frontier Sapiens Film Festival takes place on Friday 5 September between 6pm - 9pm.

Join us for an evening under the stars watching a brand-new line-up of short films featuring epic adventures, cultural stories and environmental issues from some of the world’s best filmmakers. Don’t miss out on an unforgettable evening.

And finally, celebrate to the soundtrack of your summer

Saturday 13 September between 6.30pm - 8.30pm for Summer Sundowner and soak up the end of summer vibes. Pack a blanket, bring your friends and catch the golden hour with live music

Back by popular demand, Local musicians return hit the stage for a second year of laid-back vibes. This chilled evening is the perfect way to wind down the summer and ease into autumn.

The Skylarks bring classic hits from Bowie to The Bangles, The Beatles to Queen. With soaring harmonies, acoustic guitar and cajon. The Hedgehogs create a warm, rootsy vibe on stage with the acoustic due of Natalie Fisk and James Carey blending folk, blues and Americana with stunning vocal harmonies.

As the evenings grow darker, get ready for Halloween - featuring a spooky family trail by day and a hauntingly fun silent disco by night. Stay tuned for all the eerie details!
